Flip-flops: grip in the changing room and swimming pool
Looking for grip on wet tiles in the shower or pool? Pay attention to the tread of the sole and how water can drain from under your feet. Flip-flops are loose-fitting, quick to put on and take off, and ideal between workouts and changing. For hydration after your session, bring a bottle from drinking bottles.
Men's & women's bath slippers: fit and size
Our flip-flops are unisex; choose your size based on your normal shoe size and check the product information for the footbed length. If you're between sizes, usually go one size up for extra toe room. If you're mainly wearing them at the pool or in the locker room, a comfortable instep strap is more important than a super-tight fit.
Beach slippers and flip flops
For the beach and vacation, choose something lightweight, quick-drying, and comfortable underfoot. Flip-flops feel airy; for long walks, a slightly thicker footbed might be more comfortable. If you're exercising outdoors or walking to and from the beach, a brim provides added comfort against the sun or light rain; check out our caps.
Use in sports: from gym to sauna
In the gym, flip-flops are handy between the shower and locker room; after swimming, they keep your feet off wet floors. Keep your swimwear separate in your bag and store goggles and swimming caps separately so that clothes stay dry. For everything together, a separate compartment in your bags is handy.
Maintenance and hygiene
Rinse with clean water after use and let air dry. Do not place them near a radiator; excessive heat can warp the material. Clean occasionally with lukewarm water and a little mild soap. Store them out of direct sunlight to minimize discoloration.
Slippers frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose for flip-flops?
Usually your normal shoe size. If you're unsure or wear them with thick socks, go one size up. Check the product information for footbed length.
Are flip flops suitable for the gym?
For walking to the shower or pool, yes. For strength training or cardio, closed-toe sneakers are safer and more stable.
Can you share slippers on the team?
Preferably not. Hygiene is better with your own pair. Rinse after use, especially after swimming in a pool or sauna.
Do flip-flops work on the beach?
Yes. Choose lightweight, quick-drying material and a sole that doesn't get too hot in the sun. For longer distances, extra cushioning is more comfortable.
